→What is "Chrome Remote Desktop"?
Chrome Remote Desktop is a remote desktop software tool developed by Google that allows a user to remotely control another computer using a Chromoting protocol developed by Google. It transmits the keyboard and mouse events from one computer to another, relaying the graphical screen updates back in the other direction, over a network.→How to use it?
You will need following tools to use it:
- Windows or MAC running PC.
- Google chrome browser.
- Android phone which running on Android 4.0 (Ice-cream sandwich).
Follow the steps below to make it work:
→First you have to download Chrome Remote Desktop add-on for your chrome browser. Download it by clicking here and install it.→Now download chrome remote desktop an Android app from play store on your android smartphone. Click here download it and install it.
→Now open your google chrome browser → go to Apps → click on Chrome Remote Desktop.
(Make sure you are sign in with your gmail or google account to make it work.)
→At My Computers section on chrome remote desktop click on Enable Remote Connections. Enter PIN with at least 6 digits and click Ok.
→After that it ask you to enter you PIN again. Enter it and click Ok. You will now see the message like - "Remote connection for this computer have been enabled." Click Ok.
→Now open Chrome Remote Desktop app on your android device. You will see your computer name on it. Click on it.
→It will ask you to enter the PIN. Enter the PIN which you have created earlier and press Connect.
→Now it will connect with your PC via remote access.
To disconnect it you will see the Stop Sharing on your Computer click on it.
