I'm sure you have used the Opera Mini browser on your smartphone. Opera Mini is most popular web browser for mobile phones and tablets. It is very comfort and easy to use browser. It is available on almost all mobile software platforms like iOS, Android, Windows Phone, Symbian, Java, etc free of cost. So I'm not going into the details to describe what is Opera Mini, you guys already knew that. 1. Exit Button

By default you will not see the Exit button in your opera mini when it's freshly installed. You have to enable it through settings. To enable it go to Opera Mini Menu → Settings → Advanced → Turn On Exit button. So what is the benefit of Exit button is - It will saves the RAM of your device. If you don't enable the Exit button opera mini will run in background process. Until you kill it manually, it will keep eating your Memory i.e.RAM. So it might be a problem for device which is having lower RAM.

2. Opera Link

Opera Link will help you to synchronize your Bookmarks, Search engine, etc. You have to use Opera account to turn it On. To turn On it go to Opera Mini Menu → Opera Link → If you don't have account then sign up for new account, if you already have it then sign in with that account. Now opera mini will automatically synchronize all your Bookmarks, search engine, etc. So you can restore all of your synchronized settings later stage when you will again install the browser.

3. Download Manager

Opera Mini have inbuilt Download Manager. It can able to resume, Cancel, Minimize, Open the downloaded file with that download manager. You don't have to use your default download manager or install third party one.

4. Adjust Image Quality

If you have limited Data Plan then it might use full for you. If you have limited internet connection then set the image quality to low. By lowering image quality you might get bad experience with viewing images but it will save lot of your data. Actually Opera Mini will automatically adjust the image settings to Low, Medium or High whichever you set and display it. To enable it go to Options → Settings → Image Quality → Set it to Low, Medium or High whichever you want.

5. Adjust Font Size

You may fill the difficulty to read the text content of website when browsing. It may be happen because your phone have lower screen resolution. So it is good idea to set the Font size on Opera Mini. To set it go to Options → Settings → Font Size → Set it to low, Medium, or High whichever you prefer. By default it is set to medium.

6. Single Column View

By default many web site run as PC view. By enabling this option you will view these websites in mobile single column view. So you can able to read text content more efficiently. To enable it go to Menu → Settings → Turn On Single Column View.

7. Saved Pages

Opera Mini provide the functionality to save the particular web page and you can then read it even if you are offline. To enable it go to Menu → Saved pages → Add the current web page to save it and then you can read it offline.

8. Link Sharing

If you like or find something important on a website which you have currently opened in your opera mini browser, you can directly share it with your friends through Bluetooth, Whats App, Hangout, Messaging, Google +, Gmail, etc. So then your friends can read that article.

9. Data Usage

If you have limited internet connection then it is more important you to see how much data is used by your browser to save the money. What exactly Opera Mini does, it reduces the size of actual web page and display it. It uses the Server Side Rendering to compress the web page. In Data usage you will see exactly how much data is consumed by Opera Mini and display it. In following screenshot you will see what exactly it is. The total original size of data is 4.1 MB but I have received only 980 kb which means I have saved approx 78% of my Data. To see how much data is consumed by Opera Mini then go to Options → Help → Data Usage

10. Network Test

In Network Test you can find out whether your network connection is working or not. To see it go to Menu → Settings → Advanced → Network Test...
