HOW TO FIX OR REPAIR WET CELL PHONE?
1) Switch off your phone, remove the battery, SIM card and micro SD card from your handset.
It is good idea to recover your recently wet cell phone. Most easiest way to identify whether your phone is get affected by moisture is to check the white sticker on your battery. If sticker's color is changed to white to pink or red that means your phone is get affected by water. That's why it is important to check the battery of your cell phone when it is get affected by wet. Cell phones SIM and SD card tray has open circuit that can be get damage if it is contact by wet.2) Wipe out your cell phone by tissue paper or dry soft cloth or napkin.
One drop of water is good enough to ruin your cell phone. Water contact to open circuit can make circuit short out. So wipe out water as possible from your phone by tissue paper or soft cloth.3) Do not use hair dryer or heat gun to dry wet phone.
Be careful and avoid using hair dryer or heat gun to suck or dry water droplets from your cell phones unreachable parts. It can permanently damage your handset by doing this. If you want to suck droplets from unreachable parts then try using vacuum cleaner but be careful, do not hold the vacuum cleaner too close to your phone as it can create static electricity that can permanently damage your handset.4) Put your phone in full of rice bowl and wait.
Put your wet phone in full of rice bowl to absorb some remaining moisture. Wait for 24-48 hours and put out your phone from rice bowl.5) Test your phone.
Now it is time to test your phone. Wipe off your phone again by napkin and make sure that all the remaining moisture get wiped out. Put your phones battery and turn it on.
